Facing a lot of mess managing too many remotes while watching television or recording your favourite show? Don’t worry! Those days are gone. The Ray Super Remote may become the key to your entertainment throughout the entire household, report press.
The Ray Super Remote, a touch screen device was launched on 17th Feb. This device is capable of controlling TVs, cable boxes, DVRs, video game consoles and internet streaming players like Roku and Apple TV. It has software which can record the viewer’s preference.
David Skokna, the CEO of New York based Ray Enterprises said, “As we looked at ways to re imagine TV, it seemed like the remote control needed the most help. We think we have a big opportunity to do something magical.”
The remote will not be available in the market till May or June but pre-orders are being accepted for this $199 remote. This device will need a Wi-Fi system.
Logitech and few other electronic companies already made universal remote controls long back. Recently many apps have enabled the use of Smartphone as remote control as well.
Skokna is expecting this device to stand out from all other super remotes. This Ray Remote control can control 200,000 devices and will also be able to control other internet connected home appliances as Google’s Nest Thermostat. The remote’s battery power lasts for 10 days and can be easily recharged in a power station.</p>
