<p> <i> 21.10 pm </i> Eddy partners with Cartoon Network to launch two Intel powered Android tablets for kids
Kid’s tablet maker Eddy today launched two new tablets for kids in India in partnership with Cartoon Network Enterprises. The two tablets called Ben 10 tablet and Creativity Tablet runs on Android 4.2.2 with an overlay of Eddy’s proprietary Athena OS and are priced at Rs 9,999 and Rs 8,999 respectively.
Eddy’s Creativity Tablet for children comes pre-loaded with activities, apps and videos designed to nurture creativity in children. It features more than 180 activities from the popular kids’ show M.A.D (Music, Art and Dance), presented by celebrity host Rob, and aired on POGO channel. The Creativity tablet comes pre-loaded with art and craft activities, music and dance videos, books and selected games.
“The tablet features more than 30 pre-installed role-playing games that let children explore their interests and passions, by playing the role of an engineer or a fashion designer, a chef or a doctor, a film-maker or a photographer. Parents can also download new apps from the over 50,000 educational apps available at Google Play Store,” according to a statement.
On the other hand, the Cartoon Network Ben 10 tablets are designed to provide hours of learning and entertainment to kids. On the content side it includes a library, a movie theatre, a computer, a personal tutor, a camera, a musical instrument, a game console, an art studio, a planetarium and a dictionary. The tablet also comes pre-loaded with more than 1,000 minutes of Ben 10 content, books and learning games.
The tablets runs on Intel Atom processors. Both tablets are targeted at children aged 3 and above and will be exclusively available at Amazon.in and eddytablet.com.
