Acer Aspire R13 convertible laptop is available in India for Rs 83999

The Acer Aspire R13 notebook series has been release in India by the Taiwanese company and the base model is already on sale for Rs 83999. The new release may look like your average laptop, but it features a convertible form factor where you’ll be able to deploy it in multiple modes.

The Acer Aspire R13 supports a total of 6 modes, namely laptop, tablet, stand, tent, display and Ezel. This hybrid design is made possible through the Ezel Aero Hinge which lets you flip the display by up to 180 degrees. The notebook flaunts a slim appearance and also an attractive design. The display fitted under the lid is a 13.3-inch 1920 x 1080 pixel panel with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for extra protection.

There’s touch support as well, and you’ll be able to pick up the optional Active Pen stylus for precise handwriting and professional drawings. Powering up the Acer notebook is Windows 8.1 and there’s an Intel Core i5 processor from the Haswell lineup delivering the steam on the inside. No mention of a discrete GPU has been made, so you’ll have to settle for Intel’s integrated HD Graphics.
