<p> <i> 11.44 am </i> Amazon launches ‘Golden Ticket’ sale of Yu Yureka

Amazon India has announced access to a ‘Golden Ticket Sale’ of the Yu Yureka.  The sale is being hosted especially for select customers who have shown a high level of interest to buy the Yureka smartphone and  unable to avail their favourite phone because of demand far outstripping supply.

Golden Ticket Sale’ of the Yu Yureka goes live on Wednesday, February 18 from 2 pm – 5 pm.

Only registered customers who were unable to purchase the Yureka will be eligible to participate in today’s sale and will receive an email from Amazon.in informing them of their access to the sale.

Yureka is the first device from Yu to be launched with Cyanogen OS and get exclusive OTA firmware updates and support in India. It was launched in India at a price of Rs 8,999 in January. Yu ushers in a new era of Android development in India as it will allow users to root their devices without voiding the warranty. This allows users to run endless customisation on their device and offer an enhanced product experience; currently not being supported by any other brand in the country.

The sixth Yureka weekly flash sale will go live as scheduled on Thursday, February 19 on Amazon from 2 pm onwards for all customers who have registered for this sale.

The Yu Yureka smartphone sports a 5.5-inch 720p HD display and comes with 4G LTE Cat4 modem, making it one of the cheapest 4G Android smartphone in the country. The other interesting feature is its 13 MP camera, which is quite rare in a sub-Rs 10,000 phone.
